Why I walk for CHOC

When Evelyn asked CRAVEPT and the family to support her in her walk for CHOC coming up October 30th I was happy to lend a hand and be a sponsor to such a great hospital.

When I asked her what this walk meant to her and why she was so passionate about the cause this is the compelling story she shared with me.

I hope you find that it touches your heart as much as mine and if it does there is a link at the bottom of this blog that will allow you to donate to her. You can donate any amount. $1- $100 its all for a worthy cause.

"I've been participating in the CHOC walk since 2008 as part of Cal State Fullerton's 'Child Development Association.'

Most recently a close friend of my husband and I gave birth to a child with bohring-opitz disease.

The Inspiring Journey to Make 5 Wishes!

It's been about 6 weeks since our Push-ups for charity event and I wanted to share with everyone the wonderful and inspiring journey that owner of HPN, Sean Torbati and myself traveled from the moment he became the official Supplement sponsor of Make a Wish Foundation OC/IE and until we dropped that LARGE check for $24k to the foundation.

None of this could have been possible without YOU!!!

So many amazing people who did push-ups, donated, came and supported and the love really made a difference.

Please watch this video NOW!!!!

This video is meant to chronicle mine and HPN's journey from becoming the official sports nutrition supplement partner of Make-A-Wish to making a promise to raise $25,000 by the end of 2016, to actually MAKING IT HAPPEN in 2 months.

Push-ups for Make-A-Wish

Thank you to all who came out to support the event June 11th 9am at Crave Personal Training & Boot Camp.

We want to thank all of our sponsors, donors, and local health and fitness business affiliates for their participation to make this event truly unique and a wonderful success.

In attendance was Kiwanis of HB, Nekter on Yorktown & Goldenwest, Max Muscle Huntington Beach, HB Cryorehab, Two Birds Baking Co., The T-spot and High Performance Nutrition with donations from Corner Market in Huntington Beach, Doortek Systems Inc. and HB Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep.

The event was made possible by owner of HPN, Sean Torbati's recently announced partnership with Make-A-Wish Foundation and his lofty goal to help raise, for the foundation, 25k by end of the year.

I was personally touched by his announcement and after doing my own research I quickly became a believer in the foundation and it's goals to help children in need of hope, a mission statement dear to my heart and my own personal charity efforts.

As a gym we decided to dedicate our 'Push-ups for charity' event to the Make-A-Wish Foundation OC/IE in an attempt to show love and support to Sean and we had high hopes to get him to his goal ahead of schedule.

For those of you who so graciously sponsored me through this process, here are the results.

Approx. 14k raised in push-ups. Sean promised to match what was raised so that means over $24k was raised!!!

For all my generous donors I was able to get out 91 push-ups in 90 seconds.

We look forward to writing one big check for the foundation so please get your donations and sponsor money in ASAP.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Please contact me 714-716-5037 if you wish to add a donation to this great cause.
