What ‘They’ Don’t Want You To Know

Crave Personal Training in Huntington Beach has a winning formula and I want to share our secret with you.
Every day we drive around town and see runners getting their workouts in.
We go into the local gym and scan our card and walk in and lift some weights for our daily workout.
This seems to be the way of the world.
Cardio is for burning fat and strength training is for building size…right?
You run outside on your own time and you come into the gym and you lift weights….right?
No, not exactly. Not if you lift weights at an increased rate.
That’s cardio and strength training at the same time.
Think about that for a second. For over 50 years, we’ve been told that cardio is cardio: running, swimming, biking and weight lifting is standing in front of a mirror and flexing muscles on a machine.
But science says that just isn’t true.
Of course science is always changing, rearranging with advancements in technology and research.
Nowadays we are becoming more aware of our health and fitness as a society than ever before and more research is taking place, more case studies, more science to back up or refute all of these incoming and outgoing theories.
You see, new research shows that lifting weights is, in many ways, better than traditional cardio for fat loss, performance, and overall health.
So I am combining my cardio and weight training into one session.
How long is this going to take you ask?
Studies show 30 minutes is a sufficient workload if you take traditional weight training exercises and do them faster, under a time restraint.
No, I’m not talking about poor form and wild technique to get the most repetitions possible so I can look like a “bad-ass” in the gym.
I am talking about lifting the weights more explosively; decreasing rest periods between sets and finishing the workout in less time which also means less time in the gym for all of us busy, busy people.
And when you do this correctly, its cardio and strength training at the same time.
I often get asked by walk-ins, “What do you guys do in here?” It’s a question I don’t have a proper response for. I could bore them with all the science and drop a bunch of terms in their face they will not understand about our methods of training, but instead I try to get them in to see for themselves.
The most cardiovascular “in-shape” person steps into a crave group training session and realizes they are no where near the type of endurance they thought they had.
That’s because we’re accessing anaerobic cardio not aerobic. Anaerobic cardio is the weight lifting and cardio storm that increases your VO2 max, or maximum amount of oxygen into your lungs at one time.
This what can make you feel ‘winded.’
Our average clients goes from being a techy, a housewife, or desk jockey to a conditioned athlete with three months of consistent training.
The secret is lifting weights with intensity, little rest, and last but most importantly under the coaching of a personal trainer.
This is why we keep our group training under 20 a session. Our trainers are able to scan every client during every interval to make sure form and intensity is where it needs to be. They design the most efficient exercise combinations that continually shock the body and progressively increase strength and stamina.
Group training is THE place to start if your goal is improved health, a higher level of fitness, accelerated fat loss and increased muscle toning. I urge anyone to take us up on our FREE WEEK offer TODAY!!!!
